Amazon is expanding its fledgling bricks-and-mortar bookstore format.
The Internet giant plans to open a third Amazon Books this fall, at Washington Square Mall, in Tigard, Oregon, just outside of Portland,
The Oregonian reported.
Amazon debuted the concept, which seeks to combine the benefits of online and offline book shopping, in November, in Seattle. It is scheduled to open a
second location this summer, at Westfield UTC Mall, an open-air center near the University of California’s San Diego campus.
