Amazon invests in AmieStreet.com

According to reports, Amazon is investing in AmieStreet.com, a Long Island City, N.Y.-based digital music store. The site works by offering individual songs at no cost, which then go up in price as more people download them, capping off at 98 cents. Terms of the investment were not disclosed.
