Amazon creates LGBT destination for Gay Pride Month
New York City Amazon has teamed up with the Viacom-owned Logo television network to create an online destination for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community in honor of Gay Pride Month, which is currently under way.
Logo will create and curate extensive and customized LGBT-focused editorial content and video for Amazon's Movies & TV Gay & Lesbian department, which resides within Amazon.com’s Movies & TV store. The special section will link to related products for purchase on amazon.com.
The revamped Movies & TV Store will feature a “Pride Month” sale event, with DVDs up to 60% off during the month of June.
