Aldi Enters Florida

Batavia, Ill. Discount grocery chain Aldi plans to enter the Sunshine State on Thursday with the opening of 10 stores. Additional stores will open in October and November, with the total store count in Florida expected to be 24 locations by year end.

Based in Batavia, Ill., Aldi has more than 900 stores in the United States, as well as locations in Europe and Asia.
