Albertsons and Coinstar install DVD kiosks

Bellevue, Wash. Coinstar announced Tuesday that it has installed automated Redbox DVD rental kiosks in all Albertsons locations, replacing competitive DVD kiosk equipment.

With these latest installations, Coinstar said Redbox is now available at 248 Albertsons locations across the country.

“Redbox is a great fit for our stores, and has proven to be a popular service that is convenient, easy to use and affordable,” said Bob Butler, Albertsons senior VP marketing and merchandising.    

Redbox kiosks were recently installed at the remaining 116 Albertsons LLC locations in Arizona, Florida and New Mexico.
