Ahold reaches settlement with former ceo, cfo
AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands Ahold announced today that its former ceo and cfo have waived all claims that they have made against the company.
The company settled with former ceo Cees Van der Hoeven, who will unconditionally waive all claims which he has made in an arbitration proceeding against Ahold. Under terms of the settlement, Van der Hoeven will pay the company $6 million.
Under the terms of the settlement with former cfo Michiel Meurs, Meurs will unconditionally waive all claims that he has made against Ahold in an arbitration proceeding in an amount of more than $2.4 million and will pay to the company an amount of about $714,000.
