Acme Tools invests in mobile optimization

Acme Tools, a leading authorized online retailer of tools and equipment, has launched its new mobile version of AcmeTools.com for online customers using smartphones.



Developed by BlueSky Technology Partners, the new mobile platform leverages Acme Tools' ongoing investment in IBM WebSphere Commerce to deliver a seamless online shopping experience regardless of how customers choose to browse and buy.



The new Acme Tools mobile site is designed to reduce load time and enhance the user's experience making it easier to browse, search and purchase using a smartphone. Registered users can utilize cross-platform features that include saved wish lists, saved checkout and the convenience of completing a purchase on a smartphone, tablet or laptop. The new mobile site also offers click-to-call and store locator functions and excellent readability on smartphones.
