Accenture is looking to help retailers move more quickly to digital with its acquisition of Javelin Group, a retail strategy consulting and digital transformation services provider.

Javelin Group will be a distinct business unit within Accenture Strategy, where its specialist retail strategy and digital capabilities will strengthen Accenture’s ability to help the world’s leading retailers and consumer brands accelerate their digital transformation. The combination of Javelin Group’s skills and Accenture’s global reach and industry expertise will enable Accenture Strategy to better serve a fast growing international retail market.

Javelin Group brings to Accenture Strategy a broad range of services including digital market assessment and potential evaluation, digital performance improvement, omnichannel retail planning, retail analytics, supply chain fulfilment and operations, as well as location and international expansion strategy.

It also provides digital technology consulting and systems implementation and support services. Accenture is a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company, with more than 323,000 people serving clients in more than 120 countries.
