A.C. Moore raises $141K for Easter Seals
BERLIN, N.J. A.C. Moore Arts & Crafts announced that it has raised more than $141,000 for Easter Seals during the company's ongoing "Crafting a Better World" cause marketing initiative.
During the recent in-store fundraising campaign, A.C. Moore (www.acmoore.com) customers had the opportunity to donate $1 to Easter Seals' Act for Autism campaign at checkout, and participate in a free "Make & Take" craft event in late April to learn about autism—its signs, symptoms and support through treatment—and help support families living with autism. Additionally, A.C. Moore associates held special events to raise funds.
"It is extremely gratifying to our team at A.C. Moore to have the opportunity to support Easter Seals and raise awareness about autism. Our sincere thanks to all of our customers and associates who partnered with us to help Easter Seals support families living with autism in their local communities," said David Abelman, chief merchandising and marketing officer for A.C. Moore.
