7-Eleven makes Forbes list of Top 20 franchises

New York City Convenience-store chain 7-Eleven emerged in the third spot of Forbes magazine’s list of the “Top 20 Franchises to Start.”

The Dallas-based chain’s ranking was based on its start-up fee, resiliency and support staff.

7-Eleven has 4,330 current locations and 175 closures during the last five years. Franchisees also have a 1,000-strong support staff behind them.
