Oak developer Ryan McNeill: "Oak will deliver an entirely new wellness offering to Oklahoma City."

The Rouge Method (aka Rouge) — a fitness concept that combines Pilates, strength, and flow classes in an infrared-heated studio — will introduce its unique routines at Oak, the high-end mixed-use center that opened just two years ago in Oklahoma City.

Rouge’s founder, Oklahoma native Caitlin Gundy, pioneered the idea of merging red and near infra-red-light therapy into the class environment, an innovation that she says brings movement and wellness under one roof.

“I created Rouge to bring together the things I felt were missing from the traditional boutique fitness experience,” said Gundy. “We’re combining intentional, effective movement with infrared heat and red-light therapy to create an experience that goes beyond the workout itself.”

Gundy said that she developed Rouge after studying both classical and contemporary Pilates and exploring innovative approaches to movement, recovery, and overall health.

Ryan McNeill, founder of Veritas Development, the developer of Oak, is of the opinion that Rouge will deliver an entirely new wellness offering to Oklahoma City residents.

"We've always believed Oak should offer more than great shopping and dining; it should be a place where people can invest in every aspect of their lifestyle," said McNeill, an Oklahoma City native who moved to Sacramento, where he began in retail real estate developing small strip centers.

The 43-acre mixed-use center houses 135,000 square feet of first-to-market retailers in Oklahoma City, along with 320 multifamily residences and a 7,000-sq.-ft. central greenspace graced with two art installations—Cloud Puncher and Cloud trees.

Cachet brands on Oak’s tenant roster include RH, Shake Shack, Mesero, Bluemercury, The Oil Tree, Capital Grille, Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar, Pottery Barn, Williams Sonoma, Arhaus, Tempur-Pedic and Evereve.

"Rouge will deliver an entirely new wellness offering to Oklahoma City while also strengthening the vibrant, community-driven environment we're continuing to build here at Oak,” commented McNeill.
