National Shopping Outlet Day No. 2 planned for June

Next month, big deals will once again have bargain hunters streaming into Simon outlet centers nationwide.

Ninety Simon Premium Outlets and The Mills properties will be celebrating the second installment of National Outlet Shopping Day on Saturday and Sunday, June 10 and 11. Simon promises thousands of exclusive deals from even more retail brands this year, plus VIP events hosted by luxury retailers.

Shoppers stuck at home will be able to take part in the hunt. The nation’s biggest mall owner will this year expand the event’s omnichannel presence with live-streaming and limited-time offers on ShopPremiumOutlets.com.

National Outlet Shopping Day 2023 will also reach out across the globe to Simon properties in Mexico, Thailand, and Malaysia.

"We were delighted by the overwhelming response to last year's inaugural National Outlet Shopping Day," said Simon’s chief marketing officer Mikael Thygesen.. "With word-of-mouth momentum, more great deals, and shoppers seeking value in the current economy, we expect excitement surrounding this year's event to be even higher."

Brands participating in this year’s event include Aéropostale Factory Store, Banana Republic Factory Store, Crocs, J.Crew Factory, kate spade new york, Kipling, Lucky Brand, Nautica Factory Store, Polo Ralph Lauren, Reebok Outlet, and Tommy Hilfiger.

Shoppers who open a Simon American Express credit card will receive double rewards of 6% to 10% in statement credits on select purchases during the event. They’ll also receive $10 food and beverage credits for on-property dining spots and a National Outlet Shopping Day tote bag.

To promote the big weekend, Simon this week launched the Ultimate Outlet Shopping Getaway drawing, which will award one winner and three of his or her friends a $50,000 vacation package to spend National Outlet Shopping Day weekend at Orlando Premium Outlets and Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise, Fla. The package includes first-class travel, in-market transportation, hotel, dining, VIP experiences, and a $5,000 shopping spree.
