Fast-growing chain Marco’s Pizza has promoted a restaurant and hospitality industry veteran to its c-suite.
John Meyers has been promoted to chief operating officer of the Ohio-based pizzeria chain, and will oversee operations, technology and supply chain. Marco’s said Meyers will play a vital role in the development and implementation of new technologies that drive sales and streamline operations.
Meyers brings 25-plus years of experience to the c-suite role. Prior to his promotion, Meyers served as Marco’s senior VP of finance & business intelligence. Before joining Marco’s he spent nearly five years at The Walt Disney Company as marketing analytics director/senior manager, and previously held roles with Ruby Tuesday and Darden Restaurants.
