Malls in cities across the country were broken into and looted during weekend protests against the killing of George Floyd by Minneapolis police. Among the properties invaded:

    Santa Monica Place Mall in California, where hundreds were arrested on Saturday afternoon when looters smashed storefronts at both the mall and other downtown businesses. Police called in the National Guard to help rein in the violence.

    King of Prussia Mall outside Philadelphia, where police arrested 12 people on Saturday.

    Westfield San Francisco Centre, inside of which a fire was set.

    Bellevue Square in the Seattle metro, where two security guards were injured and severe property damage was caused by protestors. “It’s destroyed inside,” Police Chief Steve Mylett told Komo News.

    Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall in Arizona, where several dozens of individuals caused damage both inside and outside of the mall and 12 were arrested.

    Dover Mall in Delaware, where Forever 21 and Cricket Wireless stores were broken into following the conclusion of a peaceful protest march.
