The suburbs north of Dallas have long been a target for expanding retailers, and the Legacy West development in Plano has been snaring some of the most coveted brands.

Opening this spring at the mixed-use center with 343,000 sq. ft. of retail and 782 multi-family residential units hall are Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co., Tory Burch, Chanel Beauty, and Gucci.

“The arrival of these premium brands to Legacy West is the culmination of decades of hard work and vision,” said Fehmi Karahan, president and CEO of The Karahan Companies and master developer of Legacy West. “The project’s success has always been based on delivering exciting experiences to the residents of North Texas.”

Karahan originally began development of the property in 2014 and opened it in 2017 along with its partner, the investment management firm Invesco Real Estate. It was at that same time that Toyota built its new, 100-acre headquarters on the site—an association has kept Legacy West’s retail shops its Renaissance Hotel, and its Legacy Hall food center busy. The project’s 20-plus restaurants that include Cava, Del Frisco’s, and Earl’s Kitchen + Bar have become a North Dallas magnet.

“We have a 100% commitment to continue expansion of our offerings at a variety of price points in multiple categories,” said Dave Laner, the director of asset management at Invesco.” That allows our customers a best-in-class shopping and dining experience that can’t be replicated online.”
