Weddings are back, and one of the web's biggest wedding organizers is staffing up to handle all the business.

Due to the COVID-caused cessation of marriages in the past year, business is booming at The Knot Worldwide, which has added four vice presidents to help satisfy 2021’s wedding boom.

The new VP of global consumer marketing is Kiara Kempski, who joins the digital wedding marketplace from Ancestry; VP of global product and livecycle marketing Sofia Serra moves over from Facebook, VP of B2B marketing Caryne Say leaves her own business to join the company, and VP of merchandising commerce Stephanie Whitacre is a former VP of women’s ready-to-wear at Saks Off Fifth.

“They will be key in building our business revenue momentum in priority areas of e-commerce and marketing as the industry bounces back and answers the pent-up demand for weddings,” said The Knot CEO Tim Chi.

Whitacre was instrumental in the growth of several new and emerging businesses at Off Fifth, most notably building the Karl Lagerfeld brand business from $500,000 to more than $15 million through product development over a three-year span.
