KnitWell Group taps digital veteran for new C-suite role
The parent company of Ann Taylor, Chico’s, Lane Bryant and other specialty apparel brands is adding to its C-suite.
KnitWell Group has appointed Angelica Munson as its new chief digital & customer data officer. In the newly-created role, she will lead the company’s enterprise strategy across customer data, customer insights, AI-enabled marketing tools, personalization, digital marketing, and related growth capabilities.
Munson brings more than two decades of executive leadership experience spanning digital transformation, e-commerce, marketing, data strategy, and customer engagement to KnitWell Group. She most recently served as global chief digital officer at Japanese cosmetics company Shiseido Group, where she led enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives across multiple brands and six global regions.

Prior to her nine-year tenure at Shiseido, Munson held senior executive leadership roles at Fast Retailing, including Theory and Helmut Lang, and at Estée Lauder's Clinique brand, where she led digital, e-commerce, and marketing initiatives across North America, Europe and Asia.
