First Look: Beyond Yoga opens at Westfield Old Orchard
A growing Los Angeles-based athletic lifestyle brand has brought its store count to double digits, and more locations are on the way.
Beyond Yoga opened its newest brick-and-mortar store at the Westfield Old Orchard shopping center in Skokie, Ill., on Aug. 15. The company, which was acquired by Levi Strauss & Co. in 2021, plans to open stores in Boston (in the Seaport neighborhood) and Marin, Calif., later this year.
The 2,343 sq. ft. Old Orchard space marks the brand's 10th retail store opening. It comes on the heels of its largest store opening yet, a 2,760-sq.-ft. store in Greenwich, Conn., which debuted in June.
The new Skokie store also marks the second Beyond Yoga location in the Chicago area after the brand opened in the Fulton Market district of the city in 2023.
At the new location, the full Beyond Yoga assortment is on display, including women’s, maternity, men’s, loungewear, travel styles, and the recently launched outdoor collection. The assortment will also feature rotating seasonal products.

Beyond Yoga was founded in 2005 and is grounded in the values of inclusivity and body positivity. In July, the company launched a new brand platform, Seek Beyond, with the intent of "redefining modern wellness through the lens of movement, mindfulness and connection."
