Report: CVS in talks to buy Aetna
Rumors of a blockbuster deal in which CVS Health would acquire insurance giant Aetna circulated late Thursday afternoon following a report by The Wall Street Journal.
Citing the Journal's report, Business Insider said that CVS has offered more than $200 per share for Aetna. The deal could value the health insure at about $66 billion, according to the report.
Representatives from CVS and Aetna both declined to comment to Business Insider.
