Hedge fund of Sears’ Lampert hints at deal
There could be a deal brewing at Sears Holdings Corp.
In April, ESL Invesments, the hedge fund controlled by Edward Lampert, CEO of Sears Holdings, proposed to buy certain assets of the chain, including its signature Kenmore appliance brand. On Tuesday, Marketwatch reported that ESL said it has received "numerous" inquiries from potential partners in a deal.
