Nordstrom will no longer separately report sales made online and in-store when releasing its quarterly results.
The department
announced the change with its fourth-quarter and year-end earnings. In explaining the change, Nordstrom said that the company is focused on providing a seamless experience across stores and online.
The retailer said it managed the company by two brands: Nordstrom (full-price) and Nordstrom Rack (off-price). Sales will be aggregated for stores and online for the two brands and reported as such.
