Two Westfield veterans who then went on to lead CBRE’s retail division will now run the retail unit at Madison Marquette.

Gavin Farnam and Heather Almond, who most recently were the managing director and director of marketing of retail at CBRE, have been named president and executive VP of the Washington, D.C.-based company which developed that city’s most notable new mixed-use development, The Wharf.

Farnam and Almond spent several years in mall management in the Westfield portfolio, with both having served as general manager of the Westfield Galleria at Roseville in California. Farnam will be based in Madison Marquette’s San Francisco office and Almond in the Seattle office. The pair will report to Madison Marquette’s chief asset services officer Drew Genova.

“We are investing in expanding our integrated service offerings and Gavin’s diverse expertise paired with Heather’s track record of growing NOI are a critical piece of that effort,” said Genova.
