GNC Holdings is giving its employee training program a makeover.

Through its partnership with ePath Learning Inc., a provider of cloud-based learning management technology, GNC is adding new employee training and development programs. The new learning system will train employees in GNC’s more than 9,000 retail, franchise, and distribution locations spanning across more than 50 countries.

The ePath Learning portfolio is comprised of learning services, including cloud-based learning portals, social collaboration technology, and custom e-learning development services. These modules will help educate GNC employees about the products and services they're selling, and how to improve their customer engagement strategies.

Delivering information via the cloud will speed up employee development, and make content more engaging, relevant, and convenient — factors that will keep GNCs millennial-based workforce more engaged during training.

"Launching our learning management system with ePath has been a huge leap for training at GNC,” said Joe Gorman, the retailer’s executive VP of operations.

“With today's millennial workforce, we know that it is critical to provide information in the manner in which they are consuming other media, and we believe this partnership will help us to deliver training more quickly, and in a more relevant format to our associates,” he added. “We know that this is just the beginning, and are excited to continue to grow our program around the globe with a consistent message for everyone from our part-time associate to our leadership team."
