Cullinan Properties, developer of noted mixed-use projects such as Streets of St. Charles and The Levee District in East Peoria, has hired a new senior VP and director of investments.

He is former RPAI development manager Josh Williams, who will take up a workspace alongside former colleague Matthew Beverly, who served as president of RPAI’s Eastern Division. Kite Realty acquired RPAI in a deal last year.

“Josh’s experience and leadership qualities will certainly be an asset to the company as we pursue various investment opportunities and expand into the South and Southeastern regions,” Beverly said.

At RPAI, Williams worked on mixed-use developments in the Washington, D.C. market and was responsible for directing all financial analytics and reporting for the company’s development pipeline. Before taking over the development team there, Williams worked on the transactional side and closed $1.5 billion in business.
