Cullinan Properties is gaining an exec with over 30 years of global financial and accounting experience.
The Peoria-based developer of mixed-use properties in urban settings announced that Jeffery Gilbertsen will serve as its new executive VP and CFO, based in the company’s Chicago office.
Gilbertsen will oversee every aspect of the company’s financial management as well as be responsible for all corporate finance functions, including accounting, treasury, tax, insurance, financial planning and analysis, corporate controllership, and cash management.
“I have known Jeff for over 15 years. His skill and experience in developing and supporting growth strategies will help propel Cullinan Properties forward,” stated Matthew A. Beverly, CEO for Cullinan Properties.
Prior to joining Cullinan, Gilbertsen spent 14 years as executive VP, CFO/COO at Harbor Shores Community Redevelopment, where he developed $500 million in residential, hospitality commercial and multifamily assets, leveraging various tax incentives and financing tools. He also held various executive roles at General Growth Properties and other financial institutions throughout his career.
Gilbertsen earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Indiana University and a master’s from DePaul University. He is also a former member of the United State Marine Corps.
