Coming soon: Florida's first Amazon 4-Star store

Miami’s trendy Lincoln Road shopping district will soon be welcoming the city’s first Amazon 4-Star location among several other tenants that, landlords there say, have become attracted to open-air plazas due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“The Lincoln Road District is home to some of the region’s best retailers, cultural venues, and dining destinations and it’s this winning formula that has allowed us to overcome adversity,” said Tim Schmand, executive director of the Lincoln Road Business Improvement District.

Landlords are in the midst of an effort to diversify the tenant mix on the eight-block promenade. Showfields, an experiential retailer that has attracted much attention in New York’s Greenwich Village, is set to open on Lincoln Road.  Other newcomers include Harry’s Pizzeria (run by James Beard Award winner Michael Schwartz), Cortadito Coffee House, Dr. Martens, and Andres Carnes des Res, an international “clubstaurant” concept out of Colombia.

Amazon 4-Star’s 5,000-sq.-ft. space at 700 Lincoln Road will be the first of three locations set to open in Florida. The store presents a wide range of new products that have received four-star ratings from customers on Amazon.com.
