Veridian, UrbanStreet's 225-acre mixed-use project in Schaumburg, is expected to open in Spring 2023.

The Cordish Companies has joined with UrbanStreet Group to develop an entertainment concept for The District at Veridian, the downtown portion of its 225-acre Veridian mixed-use district going up in Schaumburg, Ill.

Cordish is known for creating full-bore dining and entertainment concepts near professional sports complexes such as Texas Live! Between the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys stadiums in Arlington, Texas, and Jacksonville Shipyards, a joint project with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Cordish’s Power & Light District in Kansas City, across from the T-Mobile Center, hosts watch parties in and around 15 bars, restaurants, and entertainment sites.

UrbanStreet’s Veridian development will include 900 residences and already houses a Topgolf location and the headquarters of Zurich North America and Motorola Solutions. The 30-acre District will include 159,000 sq. ft. of retail in its first phase.

Veridian is scheduled to open in spring of 2023.
