Under Armour taps Harley-Davidson exec to head up HR

Under Armour has named a chief people and culture officer.

The sports apparel powerhouse named Tchernavia Rocker to the position in which she will lead all facets of the company's human resources function. As a direct report to chairman and CEO Kevin Plank, she will partner with the executive leadership team to advance and execute Under Armour's people and culture strategy.

Rocker joins Under Armour from Harley-Davidson where she spent more than 18 years in HR leadership roles, most recently as the VP and chief human resources officer. At Harley-Davidson, she crafted the strategic direction and led the execution of the organization's workforce strategy.

Rocker will join Under Armour in February 2019.
