Godiva Chocolatier is ramping up for growth in America.
The premium chocolate brand appointed Caroline Le Roch as its president of Americas, effective April 1, 2019. She will join the company’s executive committee and lead Godiva’s expansion in the Americas, including launching its café concept. Godiva is set to open its first U.S. on April 18, in Manhattan, with 10 additional locations slated to open by yearend.
Most recently, Le Roch was the interim managing director for L’Occitane, where she spent 13 years. She brings to Godiva nearly 20 years of sales, merchandising, and global leadership experience. She has successfully led businesses in multiple countries across Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Australia
“We are excited to add Caroline’s incredible leadership and market knowledge to our team,” said Annie Young-Scrivner, CEO of Godiva. “She has extensive experience in building and leading high-performing teams across channels and geographies, which will be invaluable to us as we grow our business fivefold over the next six years. Her track record of accelerating growth and her understanding of the Latin America market will also enable us to successfully broaden our reach throughout the Americas.”
