Men’s Wearhouse bolsters exec team with three new hires

Tailored Brands has appointed three retail veterans to help drive growth at its Men’s Wearhouse division in the U.S. and Moores Clothing for Men unit in Canada.


Joining the company is Mary Ann McGrath, named senior vice VP and chief marketing officer. Most recently, she served as senior VP, customer relationship marketing, for Williams Sonoma, Williams Sonoma Home and West Elm, where she led the transformation of multiple brands to a digitally-focused, data-driven marketing approach and drove significant sales and customer growth, according to Tailored Brands. Previously, McGrath held senior marketing leadership roles at Gymboree and Escada. She began her marketing career at Saks Fifth Avenue


In other appointments, Sharmila Sudhakar was named VP, e-commerce. She most recently served as VP and general manager for Walmart.com’s home décor business. Prior to that, Sudhakar was VP and general manager of growth marketing & e-commerce for Tile, a series C venture backed smart-location company, where she led Tile’s direct-to-consumer business.


Finally, Jerry Brandehoff was named senior VP and general merchandise manager. Before joining Tailored Brands, Jerry was executive VP, general merchandising manager, adult & kids apparel, North America retail – Calvin Klein, at PVH Corporation where he led the North American Calvin Klein jeans and sportswear business. Prior to PVH, Brandehoff held merchandising leadership positions at Gap, Williams Sonoma and Gymboree Corporation.


The newly hired executives will report to Carrie Ask, brand president, Men’s Wearhouse and Moores.
