Burlington to fill empty Modell’s space in Westchester County
Post Road Plaza in Pelham Manor, N.Y., is once again fully occupied.
Burlington Stores has signed lease for a 30,500-sq.-ft. space at the center that was vacated by Modell’s in 2020, and Gloss Nail Bar & Lash closed on a 3,500-sq.-ft. space.
Post Road Plaza sits across the street from a BJ’s Wholesale Club and serves high-income Westchester residents as well as customers from the nearby Bronx.
“Reaching full occupancy at Post Road Plaza is a terrific milestone that speaks to the strength of this property and the enduring appeal of the Village of Pelham Manor market,” said Matthew K. Harding, CEO of Levin Management Corp. [LMC], the leasing and managing agent for the 257,000-sq.-ft., open-air center.
“We’re proud to welcome Burlington to the center and to mark our third Burlington transaction this year,” he said.
At the end of 2025’s second quarter, Burlington Stores reported that it operated 1,138 locations in 46 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico.
Other tenants at Post Road Plaza include Dave & Buster’s, 24 Hour Fitness, and HomeGoods. Michaels held its grand opening at the center last month.
According to Placer.ai, Post Road Plaza attracts approximately 4 million annual visits. It is located at the intersection of the Boston Post Road and Pelham Parkway, just a short distance from an exit on the Hutchinson River Parkway.
“The recent addition of Michaels and now Burlington are huge wins for the property and speak to its continued leasing strength,” said LMC leasing representative E.J. Moawad. “Together with Gloss Nail Bar, which introduces a beauty and self-care use that broadens the property’s appeal.”
Also across the street from Post Road Plaza is the Pelham Manor Shopping Plaza—operated by Kite Realty--whose tenants include PetSmart, Five Below, Lidl, and Vitamin Shoppe.
