Apex Entertainment re-opens at Destiny USA

Bumper cars are back at Destin USA in Syracuse.

Apex Entertainment this week re-opened its 50,000-sq.-ft. activity center at Destiny USA, Pyramind Management’s 2.4 million-sq.-ft. retail, dining, and entertainment center in Syracuse, N.Y.

Back in play for Apex are its 24 bowling lanes, bumper cars, laser tag, hologate, and the virtual reality x-rider. Also open are its Pit Stop Tavern with more than 65 gluten-free items and a 3700-sq.-ft. meeting space for private events. Remaining closed for the time being is the gaming arcade.

Home of one of the most extensive indoor ropes courses in the United States, Destiny USA has 700,000 sq. ft. of entertainment and dining options that draw more than 20 million visitors annually. It houses an Embassy Suites hotel and advertises multi-day packages in New York State, Pennsylvania, and Canada.

Apex operates two other locations in Marlborough, Mass., Albany, N.Y. A fourth center is due to open in November in Virginia Beach.
