Andrea Olshan steps down as CEO of Olshan Properties

Andrea Olshan will now help lead her family company as chairman of the board.

After 17 years of working with and leading her family’s company, Andrea Olshan is stepping down as CEO of Olshan Properties, owner and/or manager of some 9 million sq. ft. of retail space, including the Greene Town Center in Beavercreek, Ohio, the Atrium at Fashion Center in Paramus, N.J., and Siegen Lane Marketplace in Baton Rouge, La.  She will continue to serve the company as chairman of the board.

Zachary Bornstein, formerly senior managing director of capital markets and assess management, has been named president of Olshan Properties. Michael Odell, who has also served as senior managing director of capital markets, will become executive managing director, head of investments and capital markets. Both executives have been with the company for more than 10 years.

“I know I leave the company in extremely strong hands,” said Olshan. “Our family and the Board have total confidence in Zach, Michael, and the entire executive team, and we know that under their day-to-day leadership, the company will continue to grow and prosper.

Based in New York City, where it was founded over 60 years ago, Olshan Properties specializes in the development, acquisition and management of commercial real estate in 11 states.
