Nordstrom Rack is expanding its portfolio

Nordstrom continues to expand the footprint of its off-price concept.

In recent weeks, Nordstrom Rack has announced several new locations. Here are the details:

• Nordstrom Rack will open a 29,000-sq.-ft. store at The Village at Allen, Allen, Texas, in fall 2023. The shopping center is owned and managed by DLC Management Corp.  With the addition of the Allen location, Nordstrom will operate 19 Nordstrom Rack stores and eight Nordstrom stores in Texas.

• Nordstrom Rack will open San Luis Obispo, Calif., in fall 2023. The 24,000-sq.-ft. store will be located at SLO Promenade, which is owned and managed by The Kroenke Group. With its opening, Nordstrom will operate 58 Nordstrom Rack stores, 23 Nordstrom stores, five Nordstrom Locals and one Asos/Nordstrom stores in California. The store is scheduled to open in fall 2023.

Nordstrom Rack will open a 27,000-sq.-ft. store at Overland Crossing, Overland, Kan. The center is owned and managed by Legacy Development. With its opening, Nordstrom will operate three Nordstrom Rack stores and one Nordstrom store in Kansas. The store is scheduled to open in fall 2023.

• Nordstrom Rack will open a 25,000-sq.ft. store at Barrett Place in Kennesaw, Georgia, which is owned and managed by Brixmor Property Group. With its opening, Nordstrom will operate five Nordstrom Rack stores and two Nordstrom stores in Georgia. The store is scheduled to open in spring 2024.

• Nordstrom Rack will open a 31,000-sq.-ft. store at Best in the West, a shopping center in Las Vegas. With the addition of this new location, Nordstrom will operate four Nordstrom Rack stores and one Nordstrom store in Nevada

In addition, Nordstrom Rack is expanding its footprint in California, with plans to open three locations next year. It also is opening three stores in the Pacific Northwest.
