Nearly half of consumers ready to shop in-store this week

Forty-seven percent of people are willing to visit a store this week.

That’s according to a study by Engine Insights, which also found that 36% of people are willing to go to a restaurant.

The study also found that 61% of U.S. consumers usually wear a facemask without fail, with the Northeast leading the country with 71%.

The study also found that sentiment is increasing across generations for the U.S. to relax stat-at-home and social distancing requirements in order the boost the economy. Even baby-boomers are coming round, with 63% in favor. Gen Z is most in favor, at 70%.
