Macy’s accelerates beauty push with on-demand home services


Macy's is revving up its beauty offerings with at-home beauty and treatment services.

The department store retailer is partnering with beGlammed, an on-demand beauty service that delivers hair and makeup to the customer’s front door. The deal will utilize beGlammed’s network of more than 1,200 stylists in 22 U.S. markets. Customers will be able to book a variety of beGlammed services, from a touch-up to bridal makeup, on Prices will range from $25.00 to $185.00.

The partnership will launch in beGlammed’s current U.S. markets, which include Los Angeles, New York City, Miami, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Chicago, Dallas, San Diego, Orlando, Atlanta, and Boston, and will expand to new markets in the near future.

“Macy’s is a top beauty destination for customers across America, and our new partnership with beGlammed will now provide our customers easy access to on-demand, in-home beauty services and consultations,” said Shawn Outler, Macy’s senior VP, leased businesses. “As we continue to evolve with today’s consumer, we know that she is asking for quick beauty solutions delivered right to her door for everything from a big social event to a fun Friday night out with the girls.”

The two companies will promote their partnership through multiple channels, including a dedicated beGlammed landing page and exposure on, dedicated emails with exclusive offerings, in-store signage, social media promotions and unique events.
