An upcoming online-only sale will give members of the Walmart+ paid subscription program first crack at limited-edition and Walmart-exclusive items.

In an email to Chain Store AgeWalmart said it will host the Early Access event for 24 hours from Monday, April 29 at noon ET to Tuesday, April 30, at noon ET. A spokesperson for the discount giant explained that the assortment will include a variety of food and consumable products, including some limited-edition items.

"Members have shared that grocery is the top category they want to shop for through Walmart+, so we wanted to create a shopping experience that included unique offerings on food and consumables," the spokesperson said in the email. "However, there are other products available to members through this Walmart+ Early Access event in categories like apparel, appliances and health and wellness."

Some of the limited-edition and Walmart-exclusive consumable items that will be available while supplies last include:

  • Chips Ahoy! MMMProved Keke Palmer fan box, autographed (25 available, $4.98)
  • Dolly Parton’s Rockin’ New Baking Collection ($39.97)
  • Cinnamon Toast Crunch and TXT Photocard Cereal Box ($9.34)

Walmart recently ran its “Super Spring Savings Week” promotion online and in-store, providing thousands of new discount product drops on its e-commerce site. Discounts included limited-time online flash deals, as well as daily deals and price reductions throughout the duration of the event on products in categories including patio & garden, electronics, home, kitchen essentials, and items for the Easter holiday.

Walmart did not restrict Super Spring Savings Week to members of Walmart+. However, members of the program received early access to its 2023 “Black Friday Deals” events and Cyber Monday sale.

"We already know that our members love what Walmart+ has to offer, be that groceries or gifts combined with the ultimate in speed and convenience," the retailer's spokesperson said in the email. "We wanted to create an early access event that’s new and fun and celebrates our Walmart+ members by giving them more of what they love in a way that’s uniquely Walmart."
