Bed Bath & Beyond to hold ‘Open House’ events; debut all-star advisory panel

Bed Bath & Beyond’s New York City flagship is located in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood.

Bed Bath & Beyond wants customers to see its transformation up close.

The home good retailer will hold “Open House” events from September 27 to October 3 in its stores across the country. The event will offer exclusive deals and giveaways, and spotlight Bed Bath & Beyond’s growing lineup of owned brands and enhanced in-store shopping experience, which includes improved store layouts and in-store digital shopping tools through the retailer’s mobile app. Shoppers will also learn about the company’s omnichannel services, including buy online pick up in store, curbside pickup, and same-day delivery services.

ADVISORY PANEL

Bed Bath & Beyond also announced the launch of the “Home, Happier Team,” its first-ever curated advisory panel of industry experts who will serve as "host and hostesses of the home," providing ideas, innovative solutions and compelling content to help customers personalize their living spaces and make it easy to feel at home. The team include culinary personality Katie Lee Biegel, interior designer Jeremiah Brent, storage and organization expert Eryn Donaldson and sleep wellness specialist Dr. Shelby Harris.

The team will make its debut at Bed Bath & Beyond's newly redesigned flagship in New York City on October 2 during the Open House event, where they will share their expert advice with customers on how to "home, happier" in each room. The team members' tips and tricks will also be made available to all customers across Bed Bath & Beyond's social platforms, in addition to future content at critical seasonal shopping moments.

"Last year, we announced a comprehensive three-year transformation plan to elevate our shopping experience for consumers, modernize our operations both in-store and online, and rebuild our authority in the $180 billion home market," said Mark Tritton, president and CEO of Bed Bath & Beyond. "With the addition of the Home, Happier Team, we are staying true to our promise to bring new dimensions to our brand experience and customer offerings. The Home, Happier Team will deepen our relevance and connection with customers and help inspire them to unlock the magic in every room.”

The launch of the team follows the announcement earlier this year of Bed Bath & Beyond's new "home, happier" brand campaign.
