Conn’s expanding into new markets

Conn's has its sight set on Florida. 

The specialty retailer of furniture, mattresses, home appliances and consumer electronics, is expanding into the Tampa area. It will open two Conn's HomePlus stores on Feb. 5, at Horizon Park in Tampa, and Cortez Plaza in Bradenton. (Conn’s currently operates location in Florida, in Pensacola.)

The Florida expansion continues with the opening of a 413,000-sq.-ft. distribution center in Lakeland later this month.

The new stores will give Conn’s a total of 149 locations across 15 states.

In addition, Conn’s has opened a 46,410 sq. ft. location at the Springdale Mall in Mobile, Alabama. It joins four other Conn’s HomePlus stores across the state.

Conn's HomePlus showrooms feature a variety of furniture, mattresses, appliances, consumer electronics and home office products. The Company's primary product categories include:
•    Furniture and mattress, including furniture and related accessories for the living room, dining room and bedroom, as well as traditional and specialty mattresses;
•    Home appliance, including refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers and ranges;
•    Consumer electronics  and internet-ready televisions, gaming consoles, home theater and portable audio equipment;
•    Home office, including computers, printers and accessories; and
•    At-home fitness equipment, including treadmills, ellipticals and studio cycles.
