  • EnVu and CBL partner on interactive media program

    New York City -- Interactive media company enVu said it has partnered with mall owner CBL & Associates Properties to deploy an immersive advertising platform, enSpire, within select CBL shopping centers located throughout the nation’s Top 20 designated market areas.

    The enSpire platform utilizes interactive floor projection displays that engage consumer interaction with the featured content while providing a memorable experience for mall visitors and enhancing brand recognition and purchase intent for advertisers.

  • Denny Gerdeman wins Markopoulos Award

    Columbus, Ohio -- Denny Gerdeman, principal and co-founder of Chute Gerdeman, a full-service retail branding and design firm, has been named the 2011 Markopoulos Award winner.

    The prestigious honor, named after the late visual merchandising legend Andrew Markopoulos, is presented annually by DDI Magazine to one outstanding industry professional. In winning the award, Gerdeman is recognized for his distinguished career as well as his efforts to give back to the profession.

  • Fameco to lease retail component of St. Joe’s medical center

    Plymouth Meeting, Pa. -- Fameco Real Estate, LP said it has been appointed by St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, in Paterson, N.J., as exclusive leasing agent for the new retail component to be constructed at the St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center and Children’s Hospital campus.

    Toronto -- Watt International has been selected by Innova Sport, Mexico’s largest sporting goods chain, to support the retailer’s business with retail consulting and creative services. 

  • Bond No. 9 to open in Meatpacking District

    New York City -- Prudential Douglas Elliman's Retail Group said that it has arranged another location for Bond No. 9, this time in Meatpacking at 863 Washington Street, between 13th and 14th Streets, near the edge of the High Line.

    The new store represents the fifth New York City location orchestrated by Prudential Douglas Elliman for the fragrance retailer.

  • Ogilvy & Mather, Malone form new kind of agency

    NEW YORK - OgilvyAction, the activation arm of Ogilvy & Mather, and Malone Advertising, the retail marketing unit of JWT, both part of WPP Group,have announced a joint venture in North America to form the first fully integrated, end-to-end shopper marketing and experiential marketing agency.

  • RKF retained as leasing agent for Elevation Burger franchisee

    New York City -- Robert K. Futterman & Associates said it has been retained as the exclusive retail leasing agent for the Manhattan franchisee of Elevation Burger, which controls the chain’s locations south of 50th Street and is currently the only Manhattan franchisee. 

    Earlier this year, RKF represented the burger chain’s franchisee in the leasing of its Manhattan flagship location at 103 West 14th Street between Sixth and Seventh Avenues. It is scheduled to open in December.
