David’s Bridal has unveiled a new in-store customer experience with an emphasis on personalization.

The bridal and special occasion dress retailer authority will feature the new format in approximately 30 stores in 2023, including 12 brand new locations.  The expansion follows the soft launch of the concept in select locations  that include  Torrance, Calif.; West Chester Township, Ohio;  Lexington, Ky.; and, and Cool Springs, Tenn.

Moving forward majority of David’s Bridal’s remodeled stores will follow this same concept and format. The opening and re-opening of the locations is part of a continuing commitment to update and improve David's existing store base and its physical footprint to better serve the modern customer, the company said.

David’s Bridal’s new store format s designed to cater to one-on-one customer experiences, with enhancements that create a personalized and interactive shopping experience for customers of any occasion.

Customers can walk-in or make an appointment to have a one-on-one shopping experience with a trained stylist and/or an in-house alterations expert.

Select stores will also feature new offerings such as a customization lounge and try-on bar for veils and jewelry. The stores also emphasize inclusion and carry thousands of dresses in sizes 0-30W with options for different body types, heights, and skin tones.

"Our vast retail footprint and team of expertly trained stylists coupled with our personal in-store experience is why millions of customers trust us every day to help them find their dream dress," said Jim Marcum, CEO, David's Bridal, which has more than 300 stores located across the U.S., Canada, UK, and franchise locations in Mexico,  "We remain focused on continuing to expand and enhance our customers' shopping experience. Serving her is what we do, and we are committed to offering the best in-store experience from the moment she steps into our stores to when she finds her dress and beyond."

David’s Bridal has been expanding its offerings.  In September, the retailer entered into a partnership with Little Tuxedos, an online destination that offers suits and formalwear for boys in sizes 6 months to 20H. The deal with Little Tuxedos, which  will have a dedicated presence in select David's stores,  builds off its existing partnership with The Black Tux, which supplies men's suits and formalwear for rent and purchase.
