Chico’s Has Strong 3Q

Fort Myers, Fla., Chico’s FAS Inc. boosted its net income by 38.6% to $37 million in its third quarter, thanks to a 28.1% lift in net sales to $270 million and 6.1% comps growth. In a statement, Chico’s president and CEO Scott A. Edmonds noted particularly strong growth from the women’s apparel merchant’s White House/Black Market format.
