Wegmans plans 10 new stores

Rochester, N.Y. – Wegmans Food Markets Inc. plans to open 10 new stores in the Northeast and mid-Atlantic regions. The stores include one in Maryland, two in Massachusetts, two in New Jersey, one in Pennsylvania, and four in Virginia.



Wegmans already has stores in all these states. The retailer says it will continue to upgrade or replace older stores in our more mature markets, like New York. There are other sites Wegmans is working on, but is not at liberty to disclose as yet, and some of the announced locations are subject to final negotiation or municipal approval.
