Baltimore, Md. -- New York City-based Brixmor Property Group said Walmart Supercenter at Liberty Plaza, in Randallstown (Baltimore), Md., grand-opened on Oct. 17 in 160,908 sq. ft.

Brixmor said that discussions with Walmart for the development of this supercenter began as early as 2004, as redevelopment efforts paved the way for the retailer.

Brixmor invested over $16 million in developing the Walmart building and upgraded the entire physical plant of the property including adding a new façade, lighting, landscaping and signage. The Walmart Supercenter includes full-line groceries, a drive-through pharmacy with two lanes, a vision center and a hair salon.
