PizzaRev to open in Burbank, Calif.

Los Angeles — PizzaRev has completed construction on its sixth location and will open in Burbank, Calif., on Dec. 12. PizzaRev uses custom-built 9,600-pound stone-bed “Fire-Deck” ovens to fry pizzas in less than three minutes.



Longtime entertainment industry executives Irv Zuckerman and Rodney Eckerman, who bring Fortune 500 executive operating experience to the young chain, founded PizzaRev in 2012. Under their leadership, PizzaRev recently announced a strategic partnership with Buffalo Wild Wings. That chain will open the first PizzaRev franchise location in early 2014.



PizzaRev has also announced plans to add new company-owned locations in Van Nuys, Mid-City LA, Pasadena and Valencia in early 2014. PizzaRev’s existing five locations are in Studio City, Woodland Hills, Northridge, El Segundo and Oxnard.
