Mattress Firm to open at Brookwood Village

Birmingham, Ala.--Brookwood Village, a mixed-use development located in the affluent Mountain Brook and Homewood area of Birmingham, Ala., announced that leading specialty bedding company Mattress Firm will join the shopping center’s merchant roster in 2015.



Houston-based Mattress Firm is a high-growth specialty retailer offering a broad selection of both traditional and specialty mattresses, bedding accessories and related products from leading manufacturers. With more than 1,700 company-operated and franchised stores across 36 states, Mattress Firm has the largest geographic footprint in the United States among multi-brand mattress specialty retailers.

Mattress Firm will occupy approximately 3,000 sq. ft. at 543 Brookwood Village, situated between DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse and Target. This will mark the sixth Birmingham-area location for Mattress Firm. The Brookwood Village location is slated to open in spring 2015.
