Hodgdon Group completes Ashley Furniture HomeStore in Sacramento

Colton, Calif. -- The Hodgdon Group has completed the conversion of the former Sam's Club building in Sacramento, Calif., for the opening of an Ashley Furniture HomeStore.



Hodgdon Group's HMC Construction handled all entitlements and served as the design-build contractor for the major renovation of the former 134,000-sq.-ft. Sam's Club building, which includes the new 74,000-sq.-ft. Ashley Furniture HomeStore and a 60,000-sq.-ft. Burlington Coat Factory, which opened on Oct. 11. HMC Construction also handled tenant improvement for both Ashley Furniture and Burlington. Ashley Furniture is located in North Natomas at 3671 N. Freeway Boulevard in the City of Sacramento.



Phil Caires and Michael Goldsworthy of ATI Architects served as the architect.
