Cushman & Wakefield | Commerce secures leasing assignment for Pawn Plaza in Las Vegas

Las Vegas --Cushman & Wakefield | Commerce has been awarded the leasing assignment for Pawn Plaza in Las Vegas, Nevada. The new retail project will be located along Las Vegas Boulevard next to the World-Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, which is featured on cable channel History’s No. 1 show, “Pawn Stars.”



Pawn Plaza will be a two-story, open-air retail project with an intimate and exclusive tenant mix, and a highly-visible location. The project will be constructed of modern, steel cubes, ranging in size from 288 sq. ft. to as large as 1,152 sq. ft. , and will feature a prominent elevation with 10- and 12-foot ceiling heights.



“This project takes our customers’ experience to the next level,” said Rick Harrison, co-owner of the World-Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop next door. “We’re excited to bring some new and unique shops and restaurants to downtown.”



Pawn Plaza will cater to the continued growth in downtown Las Vegas and to the over 100,000 people per month that come from around the world to visit the World-Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop. The new retail project will also feature large, open patio and deck areas, a distinctive shading canopy, and prominent signage onLas Vegas Boulevard.



Dan Hubbard and Todd Manning of Cushman & Wakefield | Commerce have been appointed exclusive leasing representatives for the new project.



“This project is located along one of the most well-known, recognizable streets in the world,” said Dan Hubbard, director-retail services with Cushman & Wakefield | Commerce in Las Vegas. “On-site work and cube construction has already started and we’re targeted to open in the first quarter of next year.”
