New Day dawns as an upgraded veterinarian service at Pet Paradise resorts like this one.

The pet boarding chain that features splash pools and synthetic grass dog parks has announced an upscale upgrade for its animal healthcare services.

Pet Paradise Resorts has re-christened its healthcare business as NewDay Veterinary Care, calling them “compassionate care clinics.” NewDay does not saddle its veterinarians with daily patient quotas in order to help them spend more time with patients and produce better outcomes. It also claims to offer its vets the industry’s best college loan payment program in order to recruit the best pet doctors.

“We support our veterinarians through a positive work environment built on work-life balance and community by prioritizing continued education and offering competitive salaries,” said Pet Paradise chief veterinary officer Dr. Jaime Klimsey Pickett.

NewDay has replaced what was known as Pet Paradise Veterinary Care at 24 locations in Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas, and Texas. Pet Paradise has set aggressive expansion goals for its upgraded vet service and promises that many more locations will be opening soon.

Pet Paradise, which was ranked No.1 in the nation for day camp and daycare services by Newsweek in 2021, has more than 50 locations open or under development in 11 states.
