Mall of America and Flip Phone Events are teaming up to bring a dose of 1990s music nostalgia to the world-famous mall.

On Saturday, March 2, Spice Up Your Life will feature performances by Wannabe: A Spice Girls Tribute and local drag performers. The event, sponsored by Bubly, will take place in the Huntington Bank Rotunda. Tickets are on sale now, with options range from VIP seating to general admission standing room.

Toronto-based Wannabe has been entertaining audiences for the past 10 years, after studying the iconic British pop group by watching concert footage and music videos which they coined as their “Spice Girls Training.” Wannabe has since expanded their repertoire to include performances featuring pop hits from other ‘90s superstars such as Madonna, Britney Spears, and Janet Jackson.

Spice Up Your Life will be hosted by Minneapolis drag performance Sasha Cassadine, and features Twin Cities-based DJ Izzie P. Along with Wannabe, guests will experience performances from drag performers including Dick Von Dyke, Domita Sanchez, Luna Muse, and Julia Starr.

“One of the many facets that make Mall of America an iconic destination is the must-see events we host throughout the year,” said Chris Grap, VP of experiential at Mall of America. “The energy and excitement that filled the Rotunda during our past drag shows have been incredible. This year, we’re thrilled to partner with Flip Phone to add a unique ‘90s twist that fans will love. Having both the Spice Girls Tribute and our drag superstars take the stage is guaranteed to make an unforgettable night out.”

At 5.6 million square feet, Mall of America, located in Bloomington, Minn., is the largest shopping and entertainment complex in North America with up to 520 world-class retail stores and restaurants, and several entertainment attractions.
